 Matthew Heckler, DO
- Dr. Heckler is OA's lead Orthopedic Surgeon in the Sidney area and also performs surgery and clinic in the Dayton area. Before coming to the greater Dayton market, Dr. Heckler worked on many professional and elite sports teams as an Assistant Team Physician such as MLB Minnesota Twins, NFL Minnesota Vikings, NBA Minnesota Timberwolves, and the NHL Minnesota Wild just to name a few. His experience and love for sports makes him a great fit in the Dayton/Sidney communities and surrounding areas.
- Dr. Heckler is excited to join the Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio. OASWO offers services such as Physical and Occupational Therapy, Sports Medicine, MRI, and Joint Replacement.
- Dr. Heckler will also be joining the Hand Center of Southwest Ohio. The Hand Center deals with both surgical and non-surgical treatment from the tip of the hand to the shoulder, such as fracture repairs, nerve decompressions, reconstruction of injuries, rheumatoid deformities and congenital defects. - Graduated 2004 from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine
- In 2005, Dr. Weber was accepted into the prestigious resident program at Grandview Hospital where he became chief resident. During this period of time, Weber remained active in sports medicine by participating as a team trainer for Springboro and Centerville High Schools.
- After his residency, Dr. Weber completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at OrthoIndy in Indiana. Viewed in high regard by the physicians of Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio, Dr. Weber was asked to return to the Miami Valley and join the practice in general and trauma orthopedic needs.
- Dr. Weber through affiliation with OASWO joins the Athletic Workshop and the Hand Center.
