Keith Achor has joined Grandview as new director for Emergency and Behavioral Health Services. He comes to us from the Upper Valley Medical Center where he worked for 23 years in a variety of nursing leadership positions, most recently having responsibility for Behavioral Health Services and Emergency Services. He also worked at Greene Memorial Hospital for four years prior to his time at Upper Valley.

Jacqueline Delaine Adrian is nurse manager for Acute, Critical Care, and Medical/Surgical Services. Delaine has been at GMH for six years in ICU and has been active with education, performance improvement and various committees. She recently served as clinical coordinator for ACU and ICU during recent management transition.

Darla Baker, clinical nurse manager for 4 South, Mother/Baby, recently added Precious Beginnings Home Care to her scope of management.

Christina Cooper, Jennifer Eberwein and Bridget Bunk have been awarded specialist certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Cooper recently completed the requirements to become a board-certified specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy while Eberwein and Bunk completed requirements to become Orthopedic Clinical Specialists. To obtain board certification, candidates must submit evidence of required clinical practice in a specialty area. In addition, candidates must successfully complete a rigorous written examination, demonstrating specialized knowledge and advanced clinical proficiency in a specialty area of physical therapist practice.

Amy Dietz is new manager of Unit 1 at Sycamore. She comes to this role with previous management experience outside of health care and 15 years of nursing experience, most recently as a charge nurse on Unit 1.


Teresa Easter, manager of Payroll and Ruthann Szente, senior financial analyst for Payroll have become certified payroll professionals. Payroll professionals are knowledgeable in all aspects of payroll, stay abreast of changes in related technologies, and, through independent research, keep current with the legislative and regulatory environment. A payroll professional must be proficient in all aspects of taxation and tax reporting, MIS, human resources (including benefits), and accounting. The American Payroll Association offers the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Examination to recognize those who have achieved this level of professional proficiency.

Lynn Filiatrault has been named manager of Preadmission Testing. She is currently manager for Ambulatory Surgery and PACU and adding PAT is enhancing continuity of care.

Christine Fritts is the new Vascular Program manager. She previously served as educator for Perioperative Services at KMC. Chris has been at Kettering since 2007 and prior to that, was director of Invasive and Noninvasive Cardiology at Community Hospital in Springfield. Chris also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Clark State Community College.

Glen Gibbons was recently named vice president for Patient Care with Greene Memorial Hospital. Glen has made significant contributions to Southview Medical Center as director of Nursing during the past two years. In Glen's 25-plus years of service with the network, he has had many roles and has made a positive contribution in each role and setting. We are excited to see him move in another new direction within the Network!

Dan Harnen was recently named network director of Supply Chain Management & Purchasing. Dan has been with Kettering Health Network since February 2003 and most recently was network director of Materials Management Operations & Purchasing. In that role, he helped streamline operations and implement process improvements and savings initiatives. He has over 16 years of diverse health care management experience including key leadership positions at Children's Medical Center, Dayton and Premier Health Partners. Dan holds a master's degree in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and recently retired from the Air Force Reserves at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Sharon Kershner and Karen Pelfrey are breast care coordinators for Kettering Health Network. Both recently graduated with master's degrees in Nursing with a focus on education. They also received certifications for breast patient care through the Oncology Nursing Society and through the National Consortium of Breast Centers, Inc. Breast cancer services are free and include classes, support groups, and personal attention. The Navigating the Breast Cancer Journey classes provide information designed to enhance knowledge about diagnosis, resources, treatment and to provide support. Looking Ahead-SOAR is a monthly support group offering speakers who provide education and to focus on concerns unique to breast cancer survivors. Susan Petrose has accepted the position as IS Project Management Office Director eHIS. Susan has been with KHN for 16 years, she started in Information Systems as a Systems Analyst and has held various positions within the department including: IS Applications Coordinator, IS Applications Manager, IS Facility Manager and IS Interim Director. Susan holds a BS ED degree with a Computer Studies Certificate and also holds the following certifications: PMP® (Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute) and CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems from the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society). She also is active in the Central & Southern Ohio Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) having just completed two years on the board as the Scholarship Chairperson.

Jim Porter recently became director of Support and Construction Services. In this position, Jim will lead Facilities and Construction services, Environmental Services and Nutritional Services primarily at GMH and oversee facilities for all other GMH entities, as well as play an integral role in the construction of the Beavercreek Medical Center. As director of Facilities Management for Grandview and Southview, he helped develop the Southview Campus, master plan the Grandview Campus and expand the ambulatory health centers.

Ellen Predaina has been named IS Project Management Office Ambulatory eHIS Director. Ellen has served as GMH director of MIS, Telecommunications and System CIO since February 2006. She supported IT needs of the hospital, physician practices and outpatient clinics, and implemented new technologies that helped physicians and staff capture and use patient data to improve decision-making and provide quality patient care. Ellen has more than 25 years of health care experience, primarily in IT, marketing and physician practice areas.

Michelle Reynolds is nurse manager for GMH Surgery and the Wound Center. Michelle received her BSN from Wright State University and has been at GMH for 14 years. She previously was a staff nurse and also nurse manager for the Medical/Surgical Unit for 10 years, and has been working the last four years in Surgery.

Julie Sackett is nurse manager for Behavioral Health at GMH. She joins the team from Kettering Health Network. Prior to this position, Julie worked at the Centennial Peaks Psychiatric Hospital in Colorado.

Lisa Seitz is new director of Quality and Performance Improvement at Grandview Medical Center. A Grandview employee for over 30 years, she holds the International Healthcare Quality Certification from the Healthcare Quality Certification Board. Lisa and her staff have been instrumental in organizing and analyzing the data that have in recent years earned Grandview and Southview an unprecedented number of awards for clinical quality.

David Starkey is new director of Materials Management and Clinical Engineering. David comes from Children's Medical Center - Dayton, where he served 25 years. His most recent role was manager of Environment of Care. David has an array of experience in health care, including managing biomedical engineering, central sterile supply, infection control, and central distribution.

Debbie Turner is new manager of GMH Case Management. She has been working as clinical documentation specialist and case management lead for the past three years. Debbie came to GMH after many years of service in Kettering Health Network.

Mendy Williams is director of ICU, ACU, Medical/Surgical, Surgery, Wound Center and the Respiratory Services at GMH. Mendy's experience is in intensive care, and she holds master's degrees in Nursing and also in Business. She has worked at GMH since 1991, having served in a leadership role since 2001.

Sally Wilmoth started her new role as executive assistant to the President at Sycamore Medical Center. Prior to coming to Sycamore, she served as executive assistant to Liz Wise, vice president of Clinical Quality.
