Excellence for Life

Several years ago when Kettering Health Network began its Excellence for Life journey, Kettering/Sycamore introduced their Key Communication Board and Grandview/Southview introduced their Bus Communication Board. The purpose of these boards was to display both Network and Departmental Key Result Area measures.

As the Excellence for Life journey continues, employees across the Network will soon be seeing some exciting changes on the Communication Boards. The Network Communications Team has been chartered with aligning the look of the boards while integrating Greene Memorial Hospital and improving everyone's understanding of how our day-to-day activities line up with Network goals and ultimately, our 2016 Strategic Plan.

The flight deck concept (shown here - click image to enlarge), revealed during August Town Hall meetings, is the new visual for all boards. In addition to the physical Communication Boards, an online version will be available as well. Through the end of the year, employees may notice the current Communication Boards being removed. The goal is to have the new boards and any educational needs in place by the end of January, 2010.
