IS Team Gives Back to the Community
The Information Systems Department has “volunteer days” where staff members are given the opportunity to volunteer their time to help local communities and organizations. On October 30 of last year, 30 IS employees participated on a build for Habitat for Humanity. This spring, IS signed up again with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for a family in need. For the October volunteer day, IS had more volunteers than there were open slots available for the one-day build, so the IS team decided to participate with this build on two days – April 16 and April 23. The home, located in Kettering, is nearing completion and is being dedicated around the end of April. Kudos to the IS team for improving the quality of life of people in our communities!
