Adventists Documentary
to Air on PBS 300 Times

Produced and directed by noted filmmaker Martin Doblmeier, the documentary, “The Adventists,” explores the history and modern implementation of the health ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The film explores the unique perspective of the Seventh-day Adventist Church …to prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ while having a highly visible commitment to delivering advanced medical care in the modern age.

The 60-minute film had its world premiere right here in Dayton on March 6 and 7 at Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Cinema DeLux at the Greene.

The film has the potential to give the Seventh-day Adventist Church positive exposure to the largest audience in North America in the church’s history. The film and additional special features, lauds the church’s health message and ministry, chronicles the history of the Adventist faith and investigates the reasons why Adventists are among the longest living people in the world.

“The Adventists” is currently airing on local PBS stations across the United States more than 300 times this spring and will likely be viewed by millions.

The final Dayton air date was April 25 on the local PBS station, ThinkTV WPTD, here in Dayton. The Adventists DVD is also available for purchase on Amazon.com.
