2009 Fall Governance Mission Conference

Kettering Health Network completed its Fall Governance Conference Mission Conference in November with over 250 in attendance.

The conference featured presentations from nationally-known speakers, Karl Haffner, senior pastor of the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church and mission strategist for Kettering Health Network; Joel Ettinger, president and CEO of Category One, advisors to businesses focusing on performance excellence and strategy; and Malcolm Gladwell, an award-winning staff writer with The New Yorker since 1996 and one of Time Magazine´s Most Influential People in 2005, Their presentations were informative and inspiring to KHN leaders and board members in order to aspire to higher levels of excellence, quality and patient safety.

Employees, leaders and board members from across the Network participated in the Saturday morning Mission Conference sessions of "Extreme Makeover: KHN Edition," which focused on the Network´s pursuit of excellence through deployment of our mission and values.

With the theme, "Move That Bus!," stories were shared about KHN employees making a difference in the lives of people in our communities.
