Beautiful new interiors, better access and greater visibility are all coming to Grandview Medical Center, as our exciting project dubbed "The New View" is in full swing.
At a cost of $40 million, the construction will create a new 66,000-square-foot, five-story wing and about 31,000 square feet of existing space will be completely renovated. There will be a colorful, modern atrium lobby and a dramatic curved canopy entrance that will allow travelers on Grand Avenue to see our front door and feel our pride.
We will begin our transition to private beds with patient rooms in the new wing. New pre and post-operative areas will enhance surgical care, and visitors will enjoy faster access to outpatient services, along with a new cafeteria and bright gift shop and pharmacy.
Excitement is building as the "The New View" takes shape. In an effort to minimize our growing pains and enhance the experience for all, we will be maintaining this helpful website with updates and construction notices until our project is complete in 2012.
