Tactical Medicine

Tactical Performance Enhancement
Our 24-session program is designed to challenge even the most fit police officers and future cadets. Catering to the needs of each individual, our goal is to not only improve general strength and cardiovascular conditioning but also to enhance job related skills through aggressive simulated scenario training. Designed and led by an Ohio Certified Physical Conditioning Specialist, this program prepares individuals for their next mission.

Firefighting Performance Enhancement
Our 24-session program for firefighters is offered for 3 different fitness levels.

  • CPAT training is geared toward new recruits training for the physical exam required by most firefighting departments.

  • The Firefighter Elite program challenges firefighters to improve their strength, enhance their physical skills, and improve overall wellness.

  • The Firefighting Life fitness program focuses on firefighters concerned with life wellness.

Athletic Workshop

The Athletic Workshop is the global authority on athletic training and master planning for your body to get you the results you need. Athletic Workshop offers programs in:

T.E.S.T - What Are Your Numbers?

The TEST program is designed to help an athlete set and achieve fitness goals. An athlete's numbers are important during the season, as well as out of season. TEST demands maximum effort by an athlete while testing in various speed, strength and NFL combine activities. Individual and/or team testing sessions are available, each lasting two to three hours.

Comprehensive Body Analysis:

  • flexibility

  • agility & speed

Test Results Are Utilized To:

  • predict an athlete's future performance
  • reveal an athlete's area of weakness
  • measure an athlete's progress
  • enable coaches to evaluate their training programs
  • identify the appropriate training group for an athlete

P.A.S.S

The P.A.S.S program's eight-week session is designed for groups of four or more. Each session lasts 90 minutes and meets two to three days a week. Individuals are welcome and will be put in a class to experience team building.

Volleyball

The 8-week VOLLEYBALL program is designed for groups of 4 or more. Each 90-minute session meets twice a week. Individuals are welcome and will be put in a class to experience team building. The program focuses on strength development and functional performance enhancement. The program's atmosphere encourages the development of team chemistry that will transfer onto the playing court. Our sports enhancement instructors utilize strength band training, footwork applications, and functional agility drills to help propel an athlete to the top of his or her game. Speed training, explosive power, and Olympic strength are emphasized to maximize an athlete's abilities.

Football

Whether you are professional athlete preparing for the NFL Combine or getting ready to start your Pee Wee Football career, Athletic Workshop has the program to meet your performance goals.

To reach your full potential and enjoy an injury free season, join our state-of-the-art facility at the Athletic Workshop. Our sport specific trainers have the knowledge and experience that will enable you to train safely and age appropriately for your individual football position. They are dedicated to providing athletes of all ages a modern approach to speed, agility and strength training while promoting a team environment.

The football program can augment your grade school, high school or college football training program or can be used as a stand alone alternative for youth and professional athletes. We give you the flexibility to tailor your schedule and intensity over an 8 session program. The football program is run over an 8-week period and individuals or groups can meet once or twice a week for 60-minutes, as their schedules allow. Individuals have 8-weeks to complete their 8 sessions. Discounts will be offered for groups of 4 or more athletes that sign up together. Age appropriate drill work will focus on speed, conditioning, agility, footwork, hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, ball work and strength training.

Soccer

The 8-week soccer program is designed for individuals or groups of 4 or more. Each 90-minute session meets twice a week. Individuals maybe included into a class to experience team building. The program focuses on strength development and functional performance enhancement. The program's atmosphere encourages the development of team chemistry that will transfer onto the playing court. Our sports enhancement instructors utilize strength band training, footwork applications, and functional agility drills to help propel an athlete to the top of his or her game. Speed training, explosive power, and Olympic strength are emphasized to maximize an athlete's abilities. The soccer program incorporates specific drills to improve your game on the soccer field.

*A junior program is offered for those younger soccer players.

Adult Fitness

The adult fitness program is designed to fit around the busy schedule of every day lives. It is for adults aged 18 and up who want to improve their fitness level or improve their lifestyles. Each individual is pre tested to determine goals and program criteria specific to their needs. Each program is designed to meet two times a week for 8 weeks ending with a post test to compare individual results. This program can help our clients lose weight, get in better shape or improve their recreational game. We will design a program that will fit your fitness level
